Dear sisters and brothers in Christ,

             I am writing  about my ministry in Obour city, Cairo.

I came to Obour September 2005 and I started with  two families ,I shared with them the word of God and I started Bible study at houses ,I shared them my vision to planet church in this city, they accepted my vision joyfully ,they share with me to empower the ministry.

I continued knocking doors and I visited many families.

Now after two years of ministry ,we have more than 50 families accepted Jesus , we have weekly congregation(every Friday) ,Sunday school(50 kid), youth meeting(25 young people), ladies meeting(25 ladies) ,we started to help families in need. Our number is about 150 person.

I will share with you what happened in 2007 and our vision in 2008.

What happened in 2007.

- We mad a file includes names of people and their emails and phone numbers, we found that we have 50 family or 150 person.

1- spiritual meetings:

- We have Friday meeting at 7 O'clock  in the evening,40 person attend this meeting.

-We have Sunday school ,also in Friday ,we have 50 kid and 6 teachers.

- We have youth meeting ,every Saturday,25 person attend.

-We have ladies meeting ,we do it in apartments because we have not church building yet.

-We have Bible study group every Sunday evening ,10 person attend .

2- different activates during 2007:

-We had sport day for youth.

-We had four journeys and sport days for the kids.

- We had spiritual day for youth.

- We had a day for Bible study group ,we discussed our role in the church and how can we start another groups.

- We had the first conference for the church in Ismalia at the end of August ,50 person attend ,it was very good chance to deep our relationship.

-We hade a wonderful party for Christmas ,90 person attend.

3-People in need ministry:

We started this ministry because we found that there is very poor people working as a gourds, we started to help the in occasions like Christmas ,we want to push this ministry but our ability as a new church is limited .we have committee for this ministry  .

4- Because we encourage the youth for ministry ,they started  a coral for songs and they song good songs at Christmas, they called their Coral "Jesus' heart".

5- The bus ministry:

We rent a bus every Friday to transport the people to the place of worship, this bus costs 350 L.E per week.

Our vision for 2008.

We have a vision for 2008, I mad a general committee from 9 person to help me because the ministry is growing strongly, we planned for 2008 and our vision for 2008 is:

- T have a peace of land.

-To have the second conference for the church.

-To start deep and clear Biblical teaching .

-To have a good administration and to help every body to use his gifts in the church for the glory of Christ.

- To reach 100 family or to be 300 person in the church, through concentrating in evangelism.

- To have Sunday evening meeting because we have many people can not attend Friday meeting .

-To get some money to buy piano for Jesus' heart team.

-to buy 100 Bible and 100 book of songs .

- To encourage people to give their tithing.

-To have conference for the kids in the summer.

-To have a library includes different books to encourage people for reading.

_We pray to have a bus  because we pay much money per week.

This is our vision for 2008.
